Stop users from accidently leaving the portal

Hello Techies,

I have a long user form on an Appian portal and I want to prevent users from accidently closing the browser tab while filling up the form.

Is there a way I can do it on Appian portal?  

The same form works well on Appian site and displays browser warning if someone accidently tries to close the browser tab.
