Hi Everyone ,
Is there a way where in, when a sub process is started by a parent process and we are not passing the parent process id in that sub process, can we determine the process id of that parent process in the sub-process which started?
This is bit urgent.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance....

In a report is the parent ID available. See process metrics.

Siddharth, you may refer to Sathya's advice in this post -
forum.appian.com/.../b-49616
. He suggests using Process Metrics (parent_process_id()) in a report and getting the result by using the Analytics smart service in the subprocess.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, we have found the same work around using Reports, exactly what Sathya's adviced & finally it worked out for our respective use case! Thanks!
