Issue with Process Model

Hi, 
 I am encountering an issue with process model. I have to republish my PM again and again without making any changes in the same in the Edit mode. I have to do this as sometimes when new instance of the process runs I get an error: 
 The amount of time allocated for the completion of an unattended activity was insufficient to allow the activity to complete. on Query Database which is calling a select query resulting in 1 record. 
 This error occurs at random, there is no fixed pattern when this happens. 
 Can any one suggest me why am I encountering this problem?

Hi Ravi may I know why did you prefer Query Database Smart Service, you can go for query entity or query rule, preferably query entity. 
 
As we know that, using query database is also an integration touch point, and hence Query entities are recommended for select operations. 
 
So I suggest, its better you try replacing it with query entity.
