Tabbing order on column fields.

Question

In my SAIL interface I have 3 columns with two to three fields each. I make an entry into the field in the first column and hit tab. The cursor does not tab to field in the next column to the right, it tabs down to field in the first column. Is there a way to change the tabbing direction or order in columns to tab to the right instead of tabbing down?

AFAIK this is not possible. Typically fields are considered "next" if they're below - similar to how it works on mobile where all second column contents show below the first column. No Appian configuration that I'm aware of to change this order.

Hi sswilliams as per my understanding, we don't have any control over the tabbing order functionality in Appian, but your can possibly do this, as @jacob suggested above. 
 
Also, if you think , in order to get your desired tabbing, you need to change your UI a lot, then I recommend don't go for that. And also this can possibly cause your UI layout look improper.
