When someone leaves their account gets deactivated. This causes an issue with nodes that had "Run as whoever started the process" on an older process. When I try to edit the problem process and change all the node to "Run as whoever designed this process model". I always get an error message of "There was an error in an expression in null at null : null".

I'm not sure how to troubleshoot that error message. Any suggestions?

Marie, ensure that you are not referencing the deactivated user anywhere else within the same node (in an expression).
