Hi all,

I am wondering what the limit for the "Send Alert Smart Service" (forum.appian.com/.../Send_Alert_Smart_Service) is? I got an error message stating that my message was too long, but I couldn't find a clue on the allowed limit anywhere.

@Appian: Could you add this information to the documentation. This would be good to know for other designers as well.

You may want to check the value for conf.suite.ALERT_MESSAGE_LIMIT in custom.properties file for alert message and subject length.

Thanks! Anyoune knows the limits for tempo entries as well? For the limit for the source field seems to be 50. What about the one for the message? Thanks!

Message Size can be upto 4000 bytes (forum.appian.com/.../Post_System_Event_to_Feed_Smart_Service)
