I have a quick task within a process that is setting a boolean value to true() when it is initiated. When I launch the process I immediately receive the folowing message

There is a problem with task "Cancel Before Departure Date" in the process "travel_approval"
Problem: An invalid expression has been encountered in a task.
Details: Invalid Cast: Cannot cast from type 'Boolean' to type 'Date and Time' (Callback for setting deadline for task)
Recommended Action: Check the expression including any function requirements and resume.
Priority of this problem: High Priority

I am not trying to convert the boolean value to date/time in the Quick task.

Do I need to set default values for the dates that appear on the form - eventhough I have not yet arrived at entering dates?...

Solved the problem - there was an attempt to ensure only one instance ran for the process - i.e. do not allow user the opportnity to cancel early more than once. This has been removed
