Impact Analysis results. We finally had an impact analysis complete. It takes way longer than it should. That is not my question. My question is it what happens next? It located the process that uses the updated CDT. I thought the process was updated. When I went into the process and the CDT value, I was not expecting to see the carrot. I did. Wasn't this to automatically adjust to the latest CDT changes?

Sorry.... I did not look below and I did not see an update button. It would be nice to select the process you want to update. It looks like you update all or nothing.

Also, make sure all process models that would be affected by the impact analysis are added to the application; as this is where the impact analysis functionality looks for the models.

What we have not done until now is to clean up the application packages we have created to migrate changes from one environment to another. Since we had so many, the imact analysis would never complete. Since we removed all the unneeded application packages, we were able to have it complete. My question is, does it matter to have a few application packages with model in it that contain CDTs or have ONE application package where you keep adding models to it that have CDTs? You have have one application package with 75 models in it. Will the time to process be different with one application package verses 75 application packages with two process models in each?

Did you know the impact analysis does NOT update the data store the CDT is associated to? I was expecting it to be done. Only after testing did I realize I had to manuall adjust the data store to the updated CDT. Can the impact analysis process be updated to include updating data stores as well?

After impact analysis one has to manually adjust the data store and also the query rules if used. Please make sure to check the query rules which uses the updated cdt
