Hi all,
I have uncovered an instance in my team's application where process-to-process messaging fails to work. It boils down to, if a process instance containing a listener node was started by a user with admin privs, it will not even notice the send message events from other process instances unless done by another user with admin privs. This strikes me as odd because the process model security is identical on both process models (and makes no distinction for admin users), and no process instance security customization is done internally. There are no error messages or anything, it's just as if the message gets lost in transit.
Is this expected behavior?
Thanks in advance!...

Under process model properties on the "General" tab, there should be a section called "Public Events" with a checkbox next to it reading "Allow anyone to fire triggers". Is that checked on the listening model for this use case?
