What is the basic difference between the following Process Management Smart Services and How to use them ?
1. Delete Processes
2. Archive Processes
3. Cancel Processes...

1. Process is completely removed from the system. Nothing is left. Can not be recovered.
2. Process is saved to disk and can be un-archived if necessary
3. Process execution is cancelled. There are no active nodes anymore.
Depending on the data management settings for the model the process might be archived or deleted after some time when cancelled.

Hi Shelzle,
a few quick questions.
1. When I archive a process, will it be still showing as "Active" or the process will move to some other state ?
2. I have a process where I am using some sub-processes. When I try to delete the main process then the system sends an error email saying "The sub-process started by this activity has been deleted." Is there a way to get rid of such error emails ?

An archived process is serialized and saved to disk. It is not visible or accessible from Appian UI anymore. There is a smart service that allows you to unarchive an archived process.
You can configure this in your alert settings.
