Hi there, could you elaborate on what you would like to achieve? As per my knowledge it is not possible to enter data directly in a pdf form in Appian. What you can do is creating a template via e.g. Adobe DC or Libre Office. Then you use this template as a template in the Smart Service in your process. The textboxes will be recognized by Appian and then you can map the boxes to the appropriate process variables.
Ideally you have a CDT, which you can use in your process and map the boxes to the process variables of that CDT.
Via the process start form users can enter the data, which will be saved and then mapped to the pdf template.

We have a requirement to generate a pdf file from pdf form template. We are using PDF Doc from Template smart service. The smart service is recognizing text fields but it is not recognizing image fields from pdf form template. Can anyone please help how to create a pdf form template so that image is recognized.
