We are trying to create a custom group in a process, assign members to the custo

Is there a limit on the size of the team name for the Create Custom Group smart service? It seems the size is not as limiting if you manually create a custom group.

It doesn't look like the out-of-the-box node lets you set admins groups for another group. It's possible through the UI, of course, but not in process. I looked on Forum and there's no existing custom plugin for this, although one could be created using the API method GroupService.addAdminGroups() - see forum.appian.com/.../GroupService.html

As for the group name size limit, I'm not sure. What size limits have you run into and how are you configuring the node (and what version of the product are you using)? I don't see anything in the docs that indicate a size limit, just a limit on invalid characters: forum.appian.com/.../Create_Custom_Group_Smart_Service

After I put trim() around the team name - the team name size was not an issue. Bad characters probably prevented the team created. We were able to complete the process. However, the node that I thought would have added members to the administrator portion for the team, did not work. I did a getdistinctuser() for the members - thinking all the members in the team would be added. This did not occur. I will have to look at your link for more help.

If you manually put the people's name in the Add Group Admins in the New Administrators (Users) Input, it will add the names. If you use a PV of user mulitple and put names in the pv and use the PV, the names are not added to the team. I am not able to create a dynamic method to add adminstrators to teams.
