Hi All,
We have a requirement where we need to assign task to certain groups on different conditions, any ideas on this please let me know apart from traditional approach of creating multiple branches depending on conditions. Let me give a example.
If the amount of approval is less than 10000 dollars it should go for approval of business 1 and finance 1 group approval in parallel. If this amount is less than 20000 dollars then it should go for approval of business 1 and finance 1 in parallel and should go to business 2 and finance 2 in sequence, means only after business 1 approves it should go to business 2 and after finance 1 approves it should go to finance 2.
Like this we had many amount conditions for which it had to flow in the pattern mentioned. Kindly let me know any way in which we can achieve this in process model. If can provide with sample screen shots it will be great.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @rammadhs you can use decision tables for that - https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/20.2/Appian_Decisions.html
Hi @fredericom ,
I thought of this, could you let me know if using decision table will make my second condition possible ?
This sounds like a pretty clear-cut example of what process modelling (along with branching) is intended to do. What exactly is your issue with using this approach?
Use an expression rule in the lane / task assignement.
That rule gives a group where you want to assign the task to as output.
