We have requirement to generate PDF populating data from the database and notify the respective users with pdf by sending an Email. We have created a Pdf form template using pdf designer tool.
While generating the PDF with the data from DB, only text fields are recognized in the PDF Doc from Template smart service and data is getting inserted. But images in the pdf form template are not recognized in Scan-Template of PDF Doc from Template smart service and we are not able to populate images in the generated pdf. Can anyone help how to insert image into generated pdf.

Where you ever able to resolve this? I am having the same issue.
AllenP We can use Fill PDF smart service which is present in PDF Tools plug in instead of 'PDF Doc From Template' smart service.
Can you give a little more detail how you solved it? We have a pdf that we have to fill with text fields from the database but there is one of them in which we have to insert an image, but it does not insert it alone gives us the following:
