Hi Appian Experts,
I have a requirement where i want to launch external system directly from related action without user interaction/extra click on UI.
External system should launch soon as i click on related action.
Creating UI task with giving safe link will not work here as user interaction not required, also, webContentField component will not work here because launch URL is not safe url(it's http url) .
Any quick help will be highly appreciated.

I recommend using a!recordActionField in conjunction with a!linkField() or a!buttonArrayLayout(). This allows your to display related actions on a specific record along with your custom link to an external system. Also, have you looked into REST apis or RPA for entering data into the external system?
Danny Verb- thanks for your input. We dont want to re-direct to any UI after clicking on related action, just lunching external system from related action.
Anyways, we change requirement to show UI first then launch external system/application with safe link and that is working.
