How to Create document(word) with grid(table)

Hi,

I want to create a document like an invoice for shoppingcart listing all the items ordered alongwith theirdetails(photo, price, name, discount) in a formof a grid(table).

If table format is not possible,could you suggect any other way i can include the data?

  • This has been asked a lot, for what it's worth.  If you're able to use plug-ins, I think the most well-supported solution is the "Advanced Document Templating" plug-in, which I personally don't have much experience using. 

    If you require a purely OOB approach for some reason, you can download my somewhat cleaned-up 21.1 export of functionality I wrote to do this manually several years ago - by following the link above.  The app contains an example process model that shows how to use the enclosed rules to successfully generate table within Word with a procedurally-generated number of columns as well as rows.
