Hi,
When you configure a deadline for a parent process, when it die what happens with his sons? They die too?
Thank you!

A process deadline is not doing anything actively.
What do you want to achieve?
I want to close processes if they are not completed in 1 day. I want to do that because we have a lot of open processes and the enviroment is too slow. So I want something to close processes and their sons. It is possible?
When I say their sons I mean their subprocesses
In any application I know, you cannot just kill processes. Active processes have active tasks and represent actual work to be done. Killing them would be harmful to the application.
Would you mind elaborating your situation?
Well, we have got an interface that is waiting to calls from a plugin. So it has an active task always, and it wont be closed. We want something to close the process that has that interface after 1 day maybe to clean up the memory of the enviroment.
Interesting design you have. If this is a process task, why not add an escalation, skipping that task after 1 day.
For existing instances, I would do the clean up manually.
