Not exact error message but if something goes wrong in your process, you can mail details of your process to system admin using concept of adding adding AND gate after your process start, than user timer to wait till more time than usual time your process can take to complete (lets say your process usually complete in 3 hours, set timer 4 hours) and than you can configure send email smart service with all process details as body.
