HI Appian support,
We need to create webAPI for starting a process model, which has a receive message smart service at the starting point of the process model. This scenario we require for the Approval/decline workflow to be integrated using teams, that is, Approval from the teams app is associated with Approval API from the Appian web API, which will start a process model with receive message smart service event. How will I achieve the same work flow using Appian web API and process model, can anyone help me with this?

You can just start a process using a Web API. This is one of the examples when you create a new one. And you can also use the same process ignoring the receive message start event.
