I'm trying to load in a grid on interface an excel file content.
I use a file upload component, and on submitform button i use a "startprocess".
"OnSuccess" event i'm trying to get a PV that contains the parsed value, return null.
I have had a first problem that going to fail the process but i introduce a 1 second delay on a node and now the process end everytime successufully,
but i cant get that value in my interface.
With same sintax i'm trying to get a pv that i'm just passed like process parameter, so that variable (a simple number) i have successufully recovered, from the same process.

A file upload MUST go through a form submit cycle before you can use it. This is how it works and there is no way to changed that currently. A startProcess will also not help.
So if you want to work with values from a file, enable chaining to the next interface and do whatever you want to do.
The start process is not for the file upload but for parsing part after the upload, but if i understand well you suggest to pass with submit to another interface and then after parsing loopback to the original UI?
I recommend to NOT combine a submit button and a startProcess. The idea of the submit button is to start or continue a process.
Why not simply do the parsing in that model. Then add the second interface to this process as well and enable chaining to forward the user directly to that interface.
