I have a document with 10 pages and I was able to extract pages 1 to 4 using Extract PDF Pages smart service (Start Page = 1 and End Page = 4). The new PDF which got generated has 4 pages. I would like to know whether there is any functionality / service available which would allow me to extract only pages 1 and 4. The new document generated should be having only 2 pages.

Not directly, but you can extract the two pages into separate documents and then merge them in a separate step.
Try this approach.
PDF1: You can extract the Page 1 by providing the range 1 to 1
PDF2: You can extract the Page 4 by providing the range 4 to 4
Final PDF: Use Merge PDF to merge multiple PDF(PDF 1, PDF 2) documents into a single document.
