Hello Benjjenki, can you tell a bit more about your requirement?I am not 100% certain about the target. It seems you try to send a URL of the user input task with the send e-mail node, so a user can click on it to go to the task?
yes exactly,
but once that task was submitted ,the flow should run forward like submitting the tasks in tempo
and also in this scenario send email node hits first before user input task
Thanks :-)
Is there any reason why the asignement mail is not sufficient?
you are right.
we can achieve this by giving assignments in User Input Task
but i want to send through email according to the requirement
HI, You can construct a hyperlink with the help of your site link and task id and then use this URL in your email. To get the task id , you may need to add some delay before send email node so that your task id will be generated by that time.
not every requirement is senseful. Try to challenge this please.
i tried but i have facing some issue ...
=concat( a!safeLink( uri: "">machintsolutionsdemo.appiancloud.com/.../", ), a!urlfortask(taskIds: tp!id, returnTaskPathOnly: true))
you can use HTML template for sending emails . Using Template will resolve your issue.construct the link template and just pass task id from process model.
Thanks for the response @Gopalk
But do we get task Id for using in Email service before hitting User input Task in process model.
Appreciate your support.
Thanks
My ideal solution for this will be to add a timer before the email. Let the timer wait for 5 seconds (now()+intervalds() function can help) and then use a task report to query the task ID from this process instance. After that, you can keep the rest of the functionality same.
