I think there is some more information needed here. For instance tell us about:
- What happens in the monitoring view of the processes?
- Does it happen to all processes?
- What do the system logs tell you?
- What has changed that may have caused this?
1)i checked the flow process was stopped in user input task node .in the monitoring mode its showing as cancelled
2)No its not happening to all process .but it happened almost all the places where ever we used user input task task is not assigned to the user but its cancelled
3) Yet to check the sys logs
4)Nothing we changed its happening in the prod environment
Appian does not cancel processes by itself and data management has nothing to do with it.
Could it be that someone decided to cancel "old" processes?
The clean-up options you're showing a re not related to whether process instances a re cancelled.
Are you able to share any screen-shots of what you're seeing? a grab of an example of the running instance?
Thanks. I was hoping to see the entire model (there are other things in a model that might cause this to happen)...although there is an exception path configured on your User Input Task which would cause your task to be cancelled if invoked. Can you show the model after the cancellation has occurred?
exception is set to 12 days. process started at 6 th may
That view is still not the whole process model, neither is it in a cancelled state (the UIT is still marked as active).
Im not sure if i can share the whole process.i will try to debug the issue and let you know. Thanks for your time
You can perhaps share a bit more detail - when you say "processes are getting cancelled automatically", what exactly do you mean? How do you know? What are you seeing, versus what were you expecting to see? The screenshot of a running instance above is not a process which got cancelled in any respect, hence Stewart's reply above. If you provide more info for us to go on, we could help troubleshoot or at least attempt to clear up any confusion you might be having.
