Good morning.
I have a flow where an inclusive or node is used to branch one or two branches in parallel. However, when putting the convergent inclusive or node, the process continues when the first branch arrives and does not wait to synchronize the arrival of the second branch when both branches are fulfilled.
What am I doing wrong, how should it be done?
Thank you very much and best regards.

For that, you need to have an AND gateway. Find more here - docs.appian.com/.../Gateways.html
There is no "convergent inclusive or" in Appian. I typically design this in a different way.
I can really recommend to learn BPMN flow principles. Its supports a lot the understanding how to design appian bpmn workflows as appian follows the rules of that modeling language.basics inputs:www.bsi-ucm-en.info/.../for overwhelming input:https://www.omg.org/spec/BPMN/2.0/PDF
Hi Stefan,
Out of curiosity, why do we need those two OR gateways here? A dummy script task would have also worked. Am I missing on something?
Thank you Stefan
I have applied your solution by substituting the or's by convergent xor's.
An OR is more clear about what it is doing and I do not want to use dummy script tasks if not absolutely necessary.
