When we use " Run as whoever designed this process model", will the system considers the latest one who published it or the user who created it (i.e., version 1) ?

"Latest published". On a production system, this should be the deployment system user.
Okay,But I don't know why,in my case it's taking version 1 created user and that too intermittently.What could be the reason?
Maybe you forgot to publish the model? Only "save" will not do it.
You must not have published it can you share a screenshot?
I have saved and published, but still the system is considered the version 1 user and user left the organization.Note: the issue is intermittent.
Are you talking about existing still active process instances? If yes, these changes will not have any effect on them.
