Hi everyone,
i've got a problem with email sent to a process model with multiple nested .msg attachment. I want to extract the last nested email attached to the incoming email, but the received message node doesn't process the .msg file. it simply download all the other files (pdf, .xml...) without reading any information of this series of the nested .msg attached emails. I've used the striphtml(msg!properties.Attachments) function in the received message node configured to receive incoming email, as shown in the pitcure below. I don't use the read msg plug-in because i have to download the .msg file as attachment from the incoming email, so it's useless for my process.
Thank you all

Attachments is a list of files not HTML. stripHtml makes no sense here.
Can you explain in more detail why you can not use the msg plugin.
ok for the first part, but it doesn't change the result. I don't use the msg plugin because it needs an msg. document as input that the received node cannot read, so i don't have it and so i can't use this plug in (?)
msg files are normal documents just like any other. You said that other attachments of the primary email are stored as expected. Is that attached MSG file also stored?
That process variable you store the attachments to. What data type is this?
Hi sir, unfortunately this .msg attached emails are not saved in the related knowledge center, as the other attachments or other email attachments like .eml, .oft and so on. The variable for the attachment is configured as document and with multiple value allowed, as depitched here
Hm ... I just searched the forum and only found a 3 years old post about the same issue, but without a solution. I suggest to contact Appian with this as well.
