We have a requirement to provide the user with the option to set recurrence mail timings from the UI. For each request the user creates, there should be a section where they could select a start and end date and different times. From the start till the end date, a mail is expected to be triggered on the selected time.
For example, when a request is created, if user selects start date as today and end date as today()+5, and if the user specifies the times as 8:00, 13:00 and 16:00, then for 5 days, the user is expected to receive mails on these 3 time slots.
What would be the best approach to do this in Appian?

Store the required configuration options to database and create a scheduled process which evaluates the configs and sends email as required.
