Import Data from excel to database

Question

Hi All, 
 I have a scenario where i am facing some issue: 
 I have a process model to create a data into db by using import excel to database, when i add the data in excel and upload its working as usual, but when i miss some rows in excel while adding data and uploading. 
 process model is not writing that data in Database, its simply completing the flow but not writing the data.

Hi @sriramkaja thanks for you response, Is there any validation we can add so that it throw some error or cancel the floe please?

Hi Mohammed, you can read the file using readexcelsheet or readexcelsheetpaging but those functions also stop reading once they detect empty row. So, better check the file before uploading

Hi 
 We have done a workaround to handle this case. If anyone has a better solution please share it. 
 1. Read the data from Excel ( readexcelsheet() ). 
 2. Check that the expected column has been returned, before pushing it to the table. 
 3. If it is empty, return the flow back to the screen, and will show a validation message manually.
