Working on the "Send Email" smart service in Appian. I've set up a custom sender. In the admin console, during email verification, it prompts me to create DNS records. I'm unsure about the process. Can someone provide guidance on creating DNS records for Appian verification?
Please find below attachment as reference.
Thanks & Regards,
Nisha Vincent.

Hi NIsha,
Could be possible that your issue is related with some misconfiguration in Appian?

Hi David,
I have a similar question. I've checked the link you provided, and it mentions creating DNS records. Can you assist me in understanding how to create DNS records in Appian?
or let me know how to create DNS records outside Appian and if there are any other sources (like Azure) to create DNS records.
Hi nishav0001 and shashankr0001
did you resolved the problem? If yes, please share the steps you followed. Thanks
Since Appian doesn't directly manage DNS recordsSteps to Creating the DNS Record:Log in to your DNS provider's control panel. Most domain registrars also offer DNS management.Look for a section related to DNS records or zone management.Find the option to create a new record.Select the record type as TXT (based on Appian's instructions).Enter the hostname/domain provided by Appian.Paste the unique value string from Appian into the value field.Save the record.
If you're unsure about your DNS provider's control panel, consult their documentation or support resources. Most providers offer guides on creating DNS records.
