Hi all,
I've recently started running into an issue with a particular process model, where any time we change one of the CDTs used therein, and run Impact Analysis, the process model in question is skipped when updates are done to the rest. It comes up on the list of impacted models, but when updates are completed, it is left off the list. This is particularly troublesome because the only solution then is to go into the process model and update every reference to the affected CDT manually (re-running impact doesn't work, it continues to miss the affected PM).
Has anyone run into this sort of thing? As far as I know there's nothing especially unusual about the model this is happening, or any of the CDTs we've run into issues with.
TIA......

Hi,
Did you tried doing File -> Exit your concerned process model and then run the Impact Analysis?

Since internally Impact Analysis performs a dry export-then-import of the model to update the references anything preventing the model from exporting will cause this behavior.
Simply try to manually export an application with that model and review the export log, you should see export errors that are the ones that will prevent Impact Analysis from updating this model; once solved those export issues Impact Analysis will work.

Eduardo, thanks for the input. Exporting a new app containing just the offending process model revealed an error, which ended up leading me to find that an expression rule somewhere buried in the model was referencing a constant which had been deleted. Once I fixed this issue, the Impact Analysis issue cleared right up. Thanks!
