We have a handful of process instances not archiving:
1. Process model's data management is set to archiving 3 days after completion or cancellation, and there are no previous versions of the process model object
2. Instance shows up in monitoring with a green checkmark and all nodes in Process Node under Process Details are completed
3. Nothing shows up under Current Tasks, Quick Tasks, or Sub-Process
4. It looks like the process was manually restarted (start node in the middle of process history) - this restart did successfully run until End Node. End Node also finished at the same time as another node.
Was just curious if this was expected behavior or something that needs more investigation.

This is why I follow the best practice to configure the end node as terminating. Once the flow reaches that node, any remaining active or failed node is stopped.
i agree with your approach (and do so myself as well), though from the details included here i wasn't under the impression that this is an instance of the process remaining active due to not terminating. it sounded to me more like confusion as to when archival is expected after some part of the process is manually re-run (but the instance is still [re] completed).
True, but without actually touching that process instance and investigating the flows, it is pretty difficult to say anything.
agreed.
