at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:745) [rt.jar:1.7.0_60]
There is no caused by exception and started as Thread.run. Due to this error Appian user will not able to see anything after clicking on Datastore subtab under System Tab. Did anyone faced this kind of error before ?

Hi,
Can you please check your server and port settings in custom.properties.
Here is a link to similar post related to it:

This can also indicate that your web server is running with old static content from a different version of Appian, you need to make sure you update the static content of your web server to serve the one that corresponds to 7.6 HF B

We have received error below while accessing tempo interface
07:39:15,737 ERROR [org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.[jboss.web].[default-host].[/suite]] (ajp-/0.0.0.0:8009-1) Exception while dispatching incoming RPC call: com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.SerializationException: Type '[Lcom.appiancorp.suiteapi.type.Datatype;' was not assignable to 'com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.IsSerializable' and did not have a custom field serializer. For security purposes, this type will not be serialized.: instance = [Lcom.appiancorp.suiteapi.type.Datatype;@63b13189
In this case error can be resolved by cleaning up cache of browser and try again.

You also want to check that the web.war directory was copied over to the web server since it seems that after upgrading the static content in the web server wasn't updated

Thanks Ed, In our case we are not using any other copy for web server since web server directly points to Appian running web.war since both are located on same server. Could it be required to clean the browser cache if Appian version upgrades.

Yes, since your browser could be caching client-side code from the previous versions.
