Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to select an Appian Use

Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to select an Appian User (during execution of a process instance) in the From Field of the Send E-mail Node.
As far as I know, the list of possible choices for the Form Field can be modified by creating a custom version of the email-address-config.xml file. However, that is a static list and I would like the From field to show (dynamically) the name of a selected Appian User, with his/her e-mail for replying.
Regards,
Thanos Michos...

Thank you, this helps but only to a certain degree.
My need is for the process instance (based on criteria) to provide the user for the From Field. Constants cannot be used in my case as
1) A large number of versions would be generated
2) There is a possibly that the wrong user would be used in a process instance due to instances running simultaneously.
Is there a way for the process instance to provide the user for the From Field through some other Expression?

Hi,
You can try this way. If a constant can be used, then instead of a constant you can give a hard coded process variable 'pv!From' in the XML configuration and make sure the same PV should be present in your process model. Finally before executing send email node assign a value to that PV as per the context.
