Hi, I have a process which posts an entry to feed in the initial stage and subsequently the users who completes the assignments in this process posts the comments to the entry feed created at the start of the process. I am able to achieve this by adding the users dynamically to the targeted group by using Add Group members but the problem is I need to logout each and every time after I perform the task. Because the comment is posted only after I logout and logs in again after performing the task. Have I gone wrong some where?

Currently, any changes to group membership are not reflected for the logged-in user until he/she logs out and then back in again. With the next release, however, this will no longer be the case. Group updates will reflect automatically.

Is there a way you can work around this until then by not modifying the group?

I ran into the same problem. Ultimately I had to create two custom smart services that in addition to adding/removing people from groups, but also cleared the group membership cache for users (or group members) being added/removed from the group.

@meghan Thanks for the suggestion,but I don't think so that I have a work around other than going for Identity Management services

This issues of cache and user logout/login has been solved in appian 7.2
