Hi, I am looking to configure my process model's tasks to notify the users every time a task is re-assigned to a different user then originator.

For example
1. 'User A' has been assigned to complete a series of tasks but the 'User A' requests 'User B' to complete one of his tasks by reassigning it to 'User B' => the Task should trigger an email to User B to notify him that he has an Appian task.
2. Anything in activity chain for the same user should not trigger any email.
3. 'User B' re-assigns the next task to 'User A', another email is triggered to the 'User A'.
so on..

I would like to use re-assign link on the left hand side. Any suggestions?

There is no out of the box functionality which caters for triggering of an email when task is re-assigned using the re-assign link.. You can build something pretty quickly if wanting to use re-assign link is not a mandatory requirement.
