Hi All,

I am facing a problem after modifying by CDT.One of the CDT's which points to a table is modified to have one additional coloumn.
1.We have deleted the CDT ,uploaded the new XSD with additonal coloumn and published
2.Deleted the reference from Data Store and republished the same
3.After step 1 and step2 ,I did the impact analysis on the CDT and it pulled up 23 process models.
4.Proceeded with "Update" option and it updated 15 successfully and 8 had problems.
5.Inspected the log and following is a sample error message
"processModel 0004dadf-62b5-8000-a73e-010000010000 131 "xxxxx(actual name is removed)": The processModel [id=131 uuid=0004dadf-62b5-8000-a73e-010000010000] was not imported because a required reference is missing: Reference to entity [06b7af57-37fc-4f8f-8c40-bcdee347e5b0] in data store [id=10433 uuid=_a-0000da02-34a0-8000-9e06-010000010000_2172] cannot be found. (APNX-1-4070-004) (APNX-1-4071-006)"

The problem is that you deleted the entity from the datastore. You should have just updated it to the new data type. Now you have to manually update all process models.

When updating the CDT do not delete the entity. Once you do that the reference which is made in other rules will lose hence you will have to manually update it. Insted of deleting the entity you should update it with the new version simply remap it and then publish it.
