Is processID variable unique everytime? I'm looking at using this value as a transaction reference ID when calling BPM processes exposed as a webservice. Is it safe to assume that this will always be unique even if the processes are already archived?

@johne To the best of my knowledge, process id will be never reused even if archived/ deleted. Just to make a confirmation, I am talking about pp!id, a process property. Even we have come across this question some time ago and the answer is, they are never reused. Further you could also confirm the same by searching through the forum posts.

but when you go across environment, that may not be the case. same process id may exist in two different environments
