I have a basic question regarding load() ; as I understand it is only evaluated once. Say suppose I have a process model and display the form to user ;the user makes his entries and the form is submitted. Inside the process model I process the entries and makes db update and again loop it back to the original "User Input Task". Here again the form is rendered to user. My question is , in between the first and second rendering of forms will it persist load() variables.

No, it won't. It will evaluate the load() once just as it did the first time you landed on the form.
