Hi,
I have a requirement to send an email from Appian to other domain like Gmail. From one of the VM machines, I am able to send mails to any domain but from other VM machine, the emails are blocked. Could someone please suggest what are the server configurations needed for the second VM machine to allow sending emails to any domain. I checked the configurations of
conf.mailhandler.ntf_sndr_addr
conf.mailhandler.email.domain for both the machines and they both are similar. What has to be done to solve this issue.

Can you please make sure that the values in custom.properties between the two VMs for all properties outlined in Mail Server Setup (forum.appian.com/.../Mail_Server_Setup.html) are the same? Also, make sure you can telnet to the mail server and port from your VM. If you can't, then you should speak to your network team about allowing communication between the VM in question and the mail server.
