I have a process backed record. Also, there is a NEWS feed which is linked with this process backed record.
So, now I can see the corresponding record tag in the NEWS feed entries properly.
I have now deleted the process backed record. So, now the NEWS section shows [Not Available] in the corresponding NEWS feed entries for the existing instance.
Now I have exported the same process backed record from different environment to the development environment. Still it shows [Not Available] message in the corresponding NEWS entry for existing instances instead of pointing to the proper record.
Is this the expected behaviour ?
or
Is there any workaround to link the NEWS entry with the record for existing instance?
Thanks in advance.

The news post links to this certain running instance of the process. If this process is deleted the relation is lost. This is what is expected.

The process was not deleted, the record type(Process Based) was deleted and then again imported the same record from different environment.

Sorry, now I understand. Did you import exactly the same record type or only a similar one pointing to the same process model?

As per my knowledge, it will only be the same record type, If it was originally created by importing the now deleted record type. Only in this scenario,
the UUID continue to remain the same.

To prove this you can export the record type on both environments and check the export logs for the UUIDs.

Anybody have any idea about this behaviour and any resolution for this issue?
