I am unable to save the data type of process variable in a particular process model. Whenever I change the data type, of these process variables and publishing the process model, then the data types remain unchanged. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Is this happening for all data types, or only for complex data types (cdt's)?

When you go to publish the process model, look for any warnings at the bottom of the modeler. I tried to replicate this error and the model I was testing with showed me a warning for a node that had an activity class parameter that could not reconcile the new data type

I haven't seen this issue before, so I can help troubleshoot but I don't have a known solution.
If it is happening for all datatypes then there is a chance that the process model may be corrupted. Can you try using "Save As" to create a copy of the process model, then publish the new copy with the new datatypes?

Hello,
1. Can you change the datatypes of pv! in old process models or is this just happening when you try to create a new process model.
2. Has this problem always existed in your environment or did it start spontaneously?
3. Is this happening with all CDTs or just a couple?

What Appian version. I had the same problem. I think it was 7.9 or 7.10. Some hotfix or newer version fixed it.
