Hi all,
We are facing a strange bug with the modeler with regards to the connectors between the nodes. I am attaching a screenshot of the actual model on the left and how it is being interpreted by the engine on the right(showing it with a little displacement of the particular nodes). When I am saving the model initially, I am not getting any errors.Only when I run the process in the debugger mode I face this problem.

First, can you verify that the script task node called "Log Details" is attached correctly? It looks like it's not actually in-line with the XOR node preceding it...

In addition to the above, your second screenshot does, in fact show an error that suggests the gateway labelled "XOR" is incorrectly configured. Also, the use of vertical swimlanes violates best practices (link below), as does running user tasks in a system lane, not labelling the outgoing flows of XOR gateways and not using naming on all nodes (including gateways) of "verb noun". Finally the lack of a clear left-to-right process flow makes the model extremely difficult to read.

@mschmitt the script task node is attached correctly. But whenever I save and publish the model everything goes topsy-turvy. It does appear as if the node is simply placed over the connector, but it is not.

@philb the errors appear after I save and publish the model and try to run an instance. Will keep in mind what you have pointed out regarding the best practices.

Try deleting the XOR just below the check Eligibility subprocess and adding it in again with new routes.

@philb tried doing that but it didn't work, so had to redesign the model.

@pavang do you mean the version of the process model? where can i check that mapping? When I select the versions option from the files tab I do get to see the correct version getting published and the rest getting disabled.
