I am seeing a strange issue with the task escalation,
I have configured the timer event (Recurring Timer Escalation) every day at 4:30 AM and repeat it every 24 hours in the task escalation to send a message once the timer is activated.
But the receive message is getting triggered on some random timings, not sure why ?
For your information, I have both the send message and receive message in the same process.

Is the timer triggered at the same time each day, but a different time to what you are expecting? It could be configured for 4:30AM in a different timezone.

Am expecting it to trigger at 4:30 AM EST every day until some one completes the task. I doubt the message event is trying to send message to all active instances because it is configured as Process to Process. Please correct me.

It depends on how you have configured the send message. Only provide the destination process id, try removing the destination process model if you have selected one.
