I made some changes to the existing Process Model, and interfaces and CDTs used

I made some changes to the existing Process Model, and interfaces and CDTs used for that process model. There was an already existing instance of that Process Model, on deployment, of course that instance and its CDTs didn't get updated, but interfaces did, and now it gives me an error as the new interface is expecting a parameter but the instance process model and older CDTs dont support that, and its giving an error instead. Is there a recommendation to address these kind of issues?
