Question on publishing a process model as a web service

When publishing a process model as a web service, how can I get additional information returned in a response, such as process variables? Currently I've only been able to retrieve the processId in the response, but there is additional information that I need.

The way I have handled this is to have the PM called as a webservice, then have the model call a webservice from the other system to pass the needed data.

You could try looking at this shared component: forum.appian.com/.../summary
or look at using a new POST Webapi with 16.2 to call a!startProcess()

As per my knowledge , if you publish process model as a web service the response would be process model id only. if you are on 16.2 go for web api and call a!startProcess
