Hi, The documentation mentions that pp!id remains unique in that environment. However, what happens after a process instance is archived? Is pp!id reused post archival of that Process instance for another newly launched Instance? Also another corresponding question is what does unarchived instance get the same pp!id or a new pp!id ?...

just to give a background, we are using envelope method of Process Design, where the Parent Process consist of only the Business data which is actually executed in a sub process. This sub process gets archived immediately after completion and we push Business and process data to db. However we are mapping everything to pp!id (primary key) in the db
