Hi All,
In the Appian 7.6V fn!user(pv!username, "email"), we are not able to save the value of user into the Process variables(PV!) of any type(text/email). Is this the weird behavior of Appian ? or what?

@rohandhondilalk, I am not sure about 7.6 version but i am tested in 7.10+ versions..when execute the above rule it returns the text type. so you can save it in text type variable..
