Problem inserting text having bullets into sybase Database text type column

I am getting below error when I try to insert Appian Text type into Sybase database TEXT type column which has bullets and likewise special characters. I am using 'Query Database' smart service to insert the data into table using INSERT query.

There was a problem executing the SQL query. SQL Message : Error converting characters into server's character set. Some character(s) could not be converted
