Monitoring process model through <href>

I have a requirement that,i should provide the link from process report to an technical user so that when he clicks on that link he should be able to view the monitoring mode of that PM. But when i tried to access that URL/link it was giving a pop-up message like "Cannot find the appian main window. Reopen that window and launch the modeller from there".

Any suggestions are appreciable.

I still think that Appian by intention does not support this use case. Process modeler is meant for developers.

@ammireddys, Thanks for the input. But not sure process modeller window is in opening state only showing "Loading smart services".
@stefanh791, My actual requirement is to provide the link in external interface not appian let say in an e-mail.
