Inheritance of Process Deadline Property

Is there any way sub process automatically inherit deadline property from parent process?
I am trying to avoid creating new process variable to hold the value of deadline and pass it from parent to sub processes.

I'm not sure if the value generated for your deadline holds any complexity, but could you not just save the value in a constant (if it's simply a value) & reference it in your sub-processes?
